Hickey-Shanafelt 9ollective a jazz group made of local professionals and students dedicated to writing and performing original music for our communities. On December 8th, they are planning a Christmas Show event at McGowan Hall. The group will be performing some of their Christmas arrangements at this event alongside a small block party of local artists, holiday-themed activities, as well as food and drink.
In the spirit of the holiday of giving, Second Helpings has been invited to set up a booth at this event as an awareness and charity opportunity. With your presence there, we'd like to set up a donation/food/gift drive to encourage our attendees to support those impacted by food poverty.
